Adding a counter to your blog
I had someone visit my blog and ask a question about adding counters to blogs.
Here are some quick steps.
1. Click on Dashboard.
2. Select layout for the blog you want to add a counter to.
3. Click add a gadget.
4. Paste code for counter, click save.
My counter is from http://www.hit-counts.com/ but there are lots more out there.
As for searching blogs by category I typed this into google and found a the following
http://www.blogcatalog.com/ you can search blogs by category or type in a search parameter.
Hope that helps...

Paula,
Thank you for getting back to me. I tried your suggestion, however when I click, add a gadget, I am taken to a page with pre-determined headers (for example, followers, search box, etc). So which header do I use for the counter? It wouldn't be the stand alone pages, would it?
